To date, the Museum of Medical History has a collection of more than 6,500 objects, medical and surgical instruments, some rare and more than 2,000 medical works, some exceptional. It thus fulfils its essential objective on the one hand to value this Hôtel-Dieu unique in New Aquitaine and, on the other hand, to be a "memory courier" in the medical field. If the ground floor allows you to situate the building in the history of France and discover a sacred art room, the floor, with its four rooms, brings you into this exciting world of medicine in the fields of pharmacy, dentistry, medicine and surgery.
