MuseumsIn the historical setting of an old Perigord building, the museum traces over 890 m2 of collections and with more than 15,000 objects, all remarkable, rare or picturesque the daily lives of our soldiers, with their glories and trials. It is through these flags, fanions, costumes, badges, various weapons, photographic documents, writings and personal objects... that the visitor finds a little of himself, a little of his history and that of his elders.
In general, our museum is built on two levels accessible only by stairs or steps - (without elevator)

Perigord Military Museum
In the historical setting of an old Perigord building, the museum traces over 890 m2 of collections and with more than 15,000 objects, all remarkable, rare or picturesque the daily lives of our soldiers, with their glories and trials. It is through these flags, fanions, costumes, badges, various weapons, photographic documents, writings and personal objects... that the visitor finds a little of himself, a little of his history and that of his elders.
It has been run by an Association of Public Utility since 1928. The Museum's teams are made up exclusively of volunteers and enthusiasts who are on hand to help visitors, and tours may be guided or unguided.

Open all year round (except bank holidays) from Monday to Saturday, 2pm to 6pm.
